A. Yes you can, certainly. You’ll have the freedom to print and share as you please. Your images should look just as stunning on paper as they do on screen (in fact, better). Fine art prints that are purchased directly from us ensure your imagery looks how it should – stunning.

A. To maintain quality control from start to finish, I don’t supply RAW files.

A. It’s fairly rare that I won’t meet a couple before their wedding – it happens very occasionally with couples who are flying in a day or two before the wedding from the NI or overseas. I’ll be in touch in the months prior to your wedding to arrange something with you. I’ll be quick to respond to your emails and I’m happy to chat over the phone. I can also schedule a Skype video call, I do this often with my destination wedding clients.

A. In many cases I don’t charge for travel. If your wedding is in Canterbury, The MacKenzie Country, or Otago for example, there would be no additional travel costs. There may be a small fee for other areas.

A. Every now and again nature can be a cruel mistress, sometimes this happens to fall on someones wedding day. This might come as quite a shock but I relish the opportunity to shoot in testing conditions. Some of the best shots I have ever captured have been of the wettest and windiest days. If you’re keen to head out with an umbrella and an emergency rescue beacon for some insane photos, then you’ve come to the right place.

A. The preference would be to supply only a list of the family or group members you would like photographed. In terms of specific set ups and angles, leave that to me – after all that’s why you’re hiring a professional.

A. Draw on my 10 years experience. Chances are you’ve not done this before. The pre-wedding meetings we have together are great for many reasons – one of my favourite things is to work out together a timeline for the day. You’re the boss so we do things your way, though it’s a good idea to be realistic and to be on the same page with your plans and ideas – I’m happy to offer guidance wherever needed.

A. No you don’t. But, if you feel you would like the extra coverage a second photographer can be arranged. Feel free to make contact for more info. In terms of the pre-ceremony ‘getting ready’ shots, you might like coverage of both the bride and groom at two different locations. Not a problem, it’s really just a matter of time management. It can be as easy as asking the men to start getting ready a little earlier. I cover both bases all of the time.

A. During the middle of peak season it can take up to 8 weeks. Generally delivery is 3-5 weeks. I know to some this may seem like a long time but the last thing I would ever want to do is push through a sub-standard edit to simply get it out the door. I am fastidious when it comes to the quality of my work and will never compromise that under any circumstance. I’d much rather things take a little longer if necessary than to deliver anything below my high standards.

A. Absolutely, I live and breath photography. During off peak wedding season I concentrate on landscape photography and exhibit work around the country.
